Zawadi African Tea products are made from pure Kenyan tea leaves
grown in the highlands of Kenya. Zawadi African Tea, grown without chemicals, is
a black tea with a rich color and robust flavor. Pure Kenyan black tea is new in
America.
Until now, pure Kenyan black tea has been
known only in a few parts of the world- Africa, the Middle East, and Europe - because
it was only sold through Britain's auction monopoly in London. In 1998, the 300-year
colonial-instituted London auction finally closed, opening the door for free trading
of Kenyan tea. For centuries the British have blended and exported Kenyan black
tea with other teas to make their well-known English Breakfast Tea.
Zawadi African Tea specializes in and distributes gourmet teas
to specialty stores, cafes and restaurants around the world, and whole sells to
